Event format
All participants will be provided with a fully marked up colour A4 map of the event area and a list of control descriptions at registration. The aim is to cycle and navigate to as many checkpoints as possible and to return to the event centre within 3 hours. SPORTident kit will be used, if you do not own an SI card you can hire these on the day for £1. This is an electronic timing system which downloads your results when you finish. |
On the day registration
Registration will open 45 mins before the specified start time. Please ensure you have plenty of time to register and get yourself prepared. When you are ready to go, you will be given the A4 map with the check points marked on. As soon as you are given the map, the clock will start ticking, check your watch against the watch at registration, it should be the same time otherwise you may lose vital points. |
Finish
Dib you SI Card into the finish station to record your finish time. |
