It was a great day with no rain in sight for a change instead there was just some snow to tackle for those that braved The Calf. This is an epic climb but most riders went for it to get the big points. We had some new trailquesters come along which is always great to see. The familiar faces rose to the challenge and as usual the Vet Male category was in close contention, this time Andy Conn came out on top with 350 points, Mike Toyn second with 331 and Dave Hetherington on 326. Jill Eccelston and Sharon Mcdonald led the womens category with 189 points. Thanks to everyone that entered. See you in on 21st March! |

Staveley is the gateway to the Kentmere Valley which is home to some great single track, fab downhills and undulating bridleways. If you are fairly new to Trailquests and biking this will be a great one to boost your confidence. If you are a seasoned quester then there will be no stopping you. A great one to end the summer series! |

CLAPHAM |
Results |
Clapham is located in the North Yorkshire Moors close to Ingleton. This area is less well known to Staveley and Grizedale but offers equally good riding so if your up for trying a new riding area then this is the trailquest to enter. Clapham offers great singletrack and bridleways across moorland terrain. |

A wet day on Sunday for Grizedale offered a stark contrast to the Staveley event with driving rain all morning! Despite the heavy rain some hardy bikers braved the weather including some first time trailquesters – well done guys. We had some great winners once again, click here to read more. Will Spain won the Male Solo and Tony Gray won the Male Vets each collecting a fantastic 380 points. Even with water washing the bridleways riders still managed to cover a lot of ground riding over to Claife Heights and beyond Satterthwaite. |
